We
imported Nellies mother "Ohra ot
Svile" from Bulgaria, but before
importing this great brood bitch we
had her bred to the great Arkan von
Kostoff aka (The Bulgarian Warrior )
in turn produced 5 outstanding pups
and Nellie is one of them.
My
sons Patrick and Aidan will put the
needed hours on her, she was an excellent
little trace dog when she was a puppy
running 150 and 250 yards at 3 1/2 months
old and finding every time, she has
a great cold nosed, as soon as my boys
get her up to 500 and 600 yards, we
will send her out tracking wounded deer
and hog this coming season.
I
will post all her training and progress,
also post a few photographs of her on
working blood lines.
The
boys decided to take Nellie out on 10/15/2011
to brush up on a few blood lines and she
did really well considering the last time
she had worked a blood line was over a
year and was surprised she retained quite
a bit from her past trace experieances,
after running a few lines she decided
it was more fun to tree a coon ha ha!

About
Our German Hunt Terriers:
Our dogs are from one of the
absolute best known working Jagdterrier kennels
in the balkens (Farm Belashtitza, Farm Kostoff).
we are proud to have introduced these great
working bloodlines and now we are the proud
owners of three direct sons and two daughters
of the great "Arkan von Kostoff",
aka (The Bulgarian Warrior) bred by Dimitar
Kostoff, Plovdiv, Bulgaria, owned and exceptionally
trained and handled by Georgi Georgiev and son
Stoyan from farm Belashtitza, Bulgaria who over
time have become very good family friends, sharing
a wealth of knowledge on the breed, from foundation
bitches to key roll playing and famous cornerstone
sires who have greatly influenced the hunting
and working lines in Bulgaria and Serbia.
Our
kennel foundation are based on the absolute
best hunting and working lines possible. Great
measures were taken to find a dog that was doing
it all today, not a dog from the past, we found
"Arkan von Kostoff" ranked above and
behond all our expectations, a great stamp of
terrier carrying excellent bloodlines, a hard
working versatile terrier of extreme hunt quality,
a courageous young dog who displays super intelligence
control when working in the field or competition,
just a super all round versatile working terrier,
true to type and standard and
in our opinion one of the better ranked working
Jagdterriers of today...an extremely special
dog producing phenomenal
blood trailing deer and hog dogs in Bulgaria,
Serbia, Italy and now the USA.
"Arkan
von Kostoff" will always be a heavy influence
in our kennels simply because he's the most
versatile champion of the balkens, one of the
hardest hunting and working Jagdterrier's, both
in natural and hunt test competitions, exceptionaly
bred!... we are extremley proud to own 3 sons
and 2 daughters of Arkan von Kostoff"

have also introduced another great dog from
Serbia, "Krol" an incredible bred
dog being a son of the famous "Kill"
20xCAC, 10xCACIB, 1xR.CACIB, 16xBOB, 1xCACIT,
BIS, BOG, International champ, LZ-9, a great
working dog on fox, badger etc... a true breed
legend and cornerstone sire who has left us
with some great genitics.
"Krol" a brother to "Kan"
and "Bero" the bloodlines speak for
themselves, just outstanding!. we are proud
to own one of the few living sons of "Ch.Kill"
....an
outstanding assist and contribution to the German
Hunt Terrier gene pool in the USA.
We
pride ourselves on having one of the finest
collections of German Hunt Terrier gene pools
in the USA, with an introduction
of a new dog every year, we import only the
absolute best!.
