Chiquita Pistol Chiquita Pistol, a 1999 mare by Smart Little Pistol out of Miss Chiquita Tari by Pay Twentyone, is an NCHA Triple Crown winner – having topped the 2002 Futurity and 2003 Super Stakes and Derby. She was the third horse, and the only mare, to have achieved this feat. Smart Little Lena and Docs Okie Quixote were the other two. She retired after winning the 5/6-Year-Old Classic at the 2004 Augusta Futurity. Chiquita Pistol had $550,910 on her record – all earned with Tag Rice in the saddle.
